Since late last year, I’ve been testing various web2.0 strategies and sites. It’s an incredible resource for driving targetted traffic if done correctly.
In case you’re wondering what’s all the fuss about web2.0, well, in a word, it’s all about traffic.
Like it or not, all the big search engines, esp. Google watches these web2.0 sites like a hawk – any activity on these sites, Google are on them asap.
Why? Nobody really knows, but I would venture a guess – user centric activity. For example, if a web2.0 page/site gets a lot of attention from many users, surely that must be something ‘buzz’ worthy right?
Compare that to a single webmaster updating a single webpage.
1 user, 1 page. Google says,
“Hmm … ok, 1 page updated, I’ll pop-by later … right now,
let me see what’s the fuss about at that web2.0 site”
How does that benefit you? I mean, that’s a web2.0 site (eg. squidoo.com, hubpage.com, multiply.com, etc) – not yours!
It’ll benefit you indirectly – if you start the ‘buzz’ at one of those sites or join in the buzz, you can leave a link back to your own site.
So, when Google crawls that web2.0 site, it will eventually crawl back to your site.
PLUS, that web2.0 site is an Authority site, and it links back to your site!
Do you see the implication here?
I think you get the idea. Use correctly, these web2.0 sites will bring a ton of traffic to your sites.

Introducing Luke Parker’s “SSS ver2 Membership Site”
—————————————————————-
I had the privilege to check out Luke’s SSS system last week.
It has everything to take a complete beginner right up to ‘pro’ level. From videos, tutorials, forum, etc.
For the veterans, there is a powerful tool called the “SSS Circle” which is a brilliant method to crank up your web traffic via collaborative effort. Here’s a quick overview of how it works:
Let’s say you’ve posted a news snippet on digg. There is only 1 vote. If you’re into black hat stuff, you’ll probably have to register a ton of other user names and “digg” that story yourself.
Very tedious and time consuming!
Now, with the “SSS Circle” tool – there is a list of other sites/news that needs to be ‘dugged’. You dig through those list (about 15 of them), and once you have done that, you can insert your own site/news.
Then, the other members who want to list their site will have to “dig” yours.
Brilliant eh?
Anyway, I won’t go on rambling – use this link and see for yourself.
If you want ride the web2.0 wave, this is an essential resource.
Best wishes,

ps: One of first thing you’ll notice is that 99% of the testimonials are from non-gurus – ordinary folks who have used Luke’s system (ver 1.0) with much success. Oh ya, although Luke calls this a ‘membership site’ – there is only a 1 time fee. No monthly recurring fees.
