Not many online gurus talk about this – but you need to manage your cash-flow if you want to have a successful online business.
“Your income should be MORE than your expenses.â€
Make sense?
If you’re just starting out, you need watch your expenses.
There will be hundreds of courses, DVD sets, software, ebooks, gadgets and what-nots – Practise some restraint … don’t blow a hole in your pocket :-)
Consider your business goals – does this new product support your business goal? Will it help you in your online business?
Buy wisely – invest only in products/services that will help you achieve your goals.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For example, if your goal is to build a string of adsense websites – earning $5,000 per month – then your purchases should support this goal.
It does not make sense to buy a “List Building eCourse†– even though the sales letter is very compelling.
*NOTE:
This does not mean you should buy every adsense related products on the Net. You’ll be broke in no time.
Ask these questions before you buy:
- Does this product support my online business goal?
- Will I have the time to use it? (or will this product end up collecting dust on my PC?)
- Have I exceeded this month’s budget?
Don’t worry about “missing out” on a good thing – there will be many more good stuff to come. You can count on it.
Here’s one of my favorite quote:
(author: my Dad)
*** “Keep a POSITIVE CASH FLOW at all times” ***
Warmly,
Adrian
