ClickBank offers Paypal for Recurring Billing

I made a post on May 14th 2008, saying that ClickBank will be offering the Paypal option for its recurring billing service.

Well, the day has arrived.

On June 25th, 2008, ClickBank announced it is offering PayPal for recurring billing!

3 Cheers to ClickBank!

Quote from ClickBank’s news release:

…..ClickBank is using PayPal’s recurring billing solution to give product publishers an easy way to sell subscription-based content and services, such as online newsletters or annual software licenses. It has proven to be very popular with customers, growing rapidly each month since its introduction.

“Currently, nearly 20 percent of ClickBank’s total business transactions are conducted using PayPal,” said Bob King, ClickBank CEO. “Allowing customers to use PayPal for recurring billing will further fuel demand for our popular subscription-based products and services and, by providing a new payment option, enhance the ClickBank experience for publishers, affiliates and customers.”

Silly Spammer ….

I received an email that goes like this:

I use a good spam filter, and you probably do the same.

I have whitelisted you and that means that I will receive all the emails you send to me.
I would appreciate it if you would whitelist my email address: xxxx@yyyyy.com in your spam filter.

If you don’t have a spam filter, I can recommend SPAMxxxx
It is a highly effective free spam filter for Outlook and Outlook Express.

You can get the free SPAMxxxxx here:

I hope that you will whitelist me, so we can continue to communicate safely via email in the future.

Best regards

Spammer

At first I thought he might be a customer of mine - but when I checked the link in the email - it was an obvious spam.

Sheesh … spammers nowadays have the audacity to ask you to whitelist their spam emails?

Serial Refunders in ClickBank

It’s heartening to note that ClickBank is finally taking stern action against the serial refunders. Their refund policy states that:

“Customers requesting serial or repeated returns will be blocked from making further purchases.”

However, it was not strictly enforced (to my knowledge) … until now.

See this thread at: ClickBank Success Forum

This will surely draw more vendors/publishers to the ClickBank platform.

On another note, if you’re in the UK or plan to go there in June, you might be interested in meeting the ClickBank’s Top Guns.

==> ClickBank’s European General Client Meeting

This event is tentatively scheduled for June 5, 2008 in London.

Attendance is limited to approximately the first 150 people who register via the link above.

Best wishes,
