How to find the Vendor’s Product ID

I get this question quite often – how do you find the product #ID (item #ID) that is sold by a ClickBank vendor?

In most cases, you can see the product ID (item ID) when you hover your mouse over the order link or order button, e.g.

http://3.vendorID.pay.clickbank.net <-- PID = 3 (item #3)

http://1.vendorID.pay.clickbank.net <-- PID = 1 (item #1)

http://4.vendorID.pay.clickbank.net <-- PID = 4 (item #4) etc.

If the vendor uses a script to handle the order link, you may not see the item #ID. In this case, click on the order link as if you would purchase it.

Once you're at clickbank's payment page, look at the URL in your browser.

It will be something like this:

https://ssl.clickbank.net/order/orderform.html?time=1243840395&

vvvv=6275726e746865666174&item=2&titl=Description_of_the_Product&
vvar=seed%3Dac6dc117fe9269e74bfaa362f0b766df%26&name=&emal=&ctry=&zipc=&

Look for the "&item=X" <-- "X" is the item ID (product ID).

I've shortened the url below:

https://ssl.clickbank.net/order/orderform.html?time=1243840395&vvvv=.......&item=2& <-- *

* NOTE: item=2

You will see that in this example, it's item (product ID) #2.

Best wishes,

    Thanks for this info on clickbank vendors. There are some times I want to promote products of specific vendors but don’t know how to find those vendors. Now I know how to do those things.
