Thud!! … Creating Fat Content Course landed right before me.
I opened the file … GASP … 233 pages??
Oh woe … but there is no turning back because I’ve promised Andy
that I will review it. Much to my surprised, 3 hours passed rather quickly :-)
Creating Fat Content course is (imho) the definitive text on how
to build a real ‘virtual real estate’ empire – i.e. building web-pages and
sites that will last and continue to make money for you, year after year.
Let me ask you a question – would you take 45 minutes to write an original
article which could end up making you $10 a month for the next 5 years?
OR, would you prefer to buy a $97 software that can generate 100s of
pages in 5 minutes flat? The chances of those pages lasting more than a
month is close to nil … if those pages manage to get pass google’s filters
in the first place.
FACT: a 10 page website with unique and useful content will
out-perform websites with 100s of pages machine generated content. Anytime.
Your goal should be to create websites that will last for years, and attract
good, targeted traffic. This means quality, not quantity.
So what if an article takes you an hour to write? That one article could end
up making you $10 each month for the next 10 years. Imagine slowly building
your internet business in this manner, until you have 100 high quality articles.
Could you write 2 articles per week? Or perhaps 2 articles a day? That would
be roughly 600 articles a year.
Now, multiply that up, and you have a good monthly (passive) income.
This type of income is special, because it does not matter whether you stay at
your home office and work, or go on holiday for the month.
Your content is out there, working 24×7.
Sounds good? You bet it is.
This is what the Creating FAT Content Course is all about.
Dr. Andy Williams is a personal friend of mine – we got to know each other
way back in 2002. (Otherwise, it would be near impossible to get me to
read 172 pages of text ;-)
Anyway, Andy is the real deal. He walks the talk, and you won’t get any
BS from him. If this kind of Internet Business appeals to you,
then I suggest you get a copy of Andy’s Creating Fat Content course.
The package comes with a few cool software tools:
- The article editor. This will help you speed things up considerably.
- Research Tool – quickly and easily find facts, figures, videos, images, etc, for your content.
- Content Publisher – this is an existing product that Andy still sells for $97
Some of the good stuff covered in this comprehensive course:
- How to avoid being a ‘thin affiliate’. Google Report analyzed, the kind of pages
Google likes and dislikes (penalized), etc. - An overview of the FAT affiliate site process – how to find profitable niches,
how to determine profitable keywords, the strategy, page theming, etc - Keyword research – the difference between primary and secondary keywords and
how to effective use them for optimal results. Covers stuff like to how determine which
keyword you should target, taking into account the number of competition and
the number of searches for that keyword/phrase. - How to find in-demand (and profitable) phrases that are EASY to write articles on?
- How to theme your pages using the 3 different type of pages, i.e.
- article pages – purpose is to get traffic and build trust with your readers
- main pages – pre-sell the affiliate product
- home page – allows the reader to navigate their way on your site.
- 3 examples of “Call to Action” phrases you MUST put in your article pages.
- 2 important questions you should keep in mind when writing quality articles. This will ensure your readers will benefit from it, and you will be able to make money from it.
- Linking Strategies – A link from a high PR3 page is as valuable as a link from a low PR 4 page. Another important factor is the “link reputation”.
- The best way to publish your articles? All at once or use the “drip-feed” method?
- Duplicate content? Fact or Myth? And the best place to submit your articles.
- Do you create a single FAT site or several tighter niche sites?
And much more. Stuff such as tracking your visitors and keeping in touch with them, the
pro and cons of owning/creating your own products, the art of pre-selling, legal requirements
for webmasters (a link to a free resource is provided) are covered as well.
|
All said, this is indeed a comprehensive course that will truly help you build an Internet Business Empire that will last.
Ask yourself – are you going to continue to chase after the latest gizmo and gadgets that the gurus churn out week after week? Or will you finally settle down and actually start building your Internet Business? |
The Cons?
Ouch … 233 pages! (this is excluding some of the bonus reports!)
Perhaps if Andy had package this course into 4 modules (each module about 50+ pages)
it would appear to be less daunting :-)
